Our story began with Louise, a registered nurse whose life changed profoundly when their son Milo was born in 2020 with Down syndrome and multiple medical complexities. For the first four years of Milo’s life, Louise and her family found themselves moving between hospital stays and home, navigating challenges that most families never imagine. Experiencing both the professional world of nursing and the personal reality of caring for a child with complex needs gave Louise a unique perspective. It quickly became clear that the world of children’s clothing was missing something vital: adaptive wear that was not only practical and accessible but also beautifully designed, comfortable, and most importantly, inclusive.
Motivated by this realisation and supported by the unwavering dedication of her husband Bon, Louise set out to create Milos Nest. Our brand is dedicated to providing thoughtfully designed adaptive clothing, specifically for children with medical needs, disabilities, and additional care requirements. Every item we create is a reflection of our belief that every child deserves to feel comfortable, confident, and included—regardless of their circumstances.
